Job Description

To receive and properly route incoming telephone calls to the appropriate departments.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous medical office experience preferred
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

  1. Answer telephones promptly and professionally.
  2. Route incoming calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
  3. Answering routine patient questions related to office activities.
  4. Informing of telephone calls or using interoffice communication equipment.
  5. Relay or route written or verbal messages.
  6. Place telephone calls to patient to confirm appointments for the next day.
  7. Calls to confirm appointments for the next day with patients
  8. Proficient in EMR system.
  9. Performs other assigned duties as directed by the Manager.
