Job Description
To receive and properly route incoming telephone calls to the appropriate departments.
Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Bilingual
Responsibilities
- Answer telephones promptly and professionally.
- Route incoming calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Answering routine patient questions related to office activities.
- Informing of telephone calls or using interoffice communication equipment.
- Relay or route written or verbal messages.
- Place telephone calls to patient to confirm appointments for the next day.
- Calls to confirm appointments for the next day with patients
- Proficient in EMR system.
- Performs other assigned duties as directed by the Manager.
