Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience in the area of customer service, medical center preferred.
Bilingual.
Responsibilities
· Provide optimal level of customer service and maintain professionalism to resolve all customer service issues and provide information, if necessary.
· Able to manage several patients and greet everyone politely and assist with special requests of patients.
· Coordinate with front desk personnel and assist to reduce number of front counter visits by patients. Manage communication of patients and ensure the authenticity of information provided.
· Should be an active listener, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand, ask question when appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate time. Convey information effectively.
· Critical thinking to identify how to handle situations as the arise.
to be aware of other’s reactions and why they react as they do.
· Person should like to work with others instead of working alone.
· Job requires attention to detail as well as being thorough in completing job tasks on time.
· Should be EMR proficient.
· Should be able to stand for long periods of time and have quick reaction time.
· Will orient and assist patients and visitors in the waiting room and maintain a general orderliness of the waiting room.
· Will keep the waiting room tidy, alert the environmental department, if necessary.
· Performs other job duties directed by Manager.
